The property is located on the vest side of Whitefish Stage Road just north of the �r�tersection of Nest Evergreen. Drive. The existing residence, recently converted to a pre-school, is for sale. It is the intent of the property owner to rake city grater and serer service available le to the lot and apply for office/ conunercia . zoning to improve the salability of the property. The Kalispell City Council approved the first reading of the ordinance and annexation of the property at their regular meeting of February 6, 2006. WHEREAS, John and Bobbi Bonner, .er, the owners of the property described above, petitioned the City of Kalispell that the zoning classification attached to the above described tract of land be zoned .l -1., Neighborhood Buffer District, on approximately one-half acre of lard, and WHEREAS, the property is located on the west side of Whitefish Stage Road, north of the intersection with Nest Evergreen Drive, and WHEREAS, the onner's petition was the subject of a report compiled by the Kalispell Planning Department, Staff Report KA-05-20, dated Jan. ary 3, 2006, in which the Kal ispe 1.1 Planning Department evaluated the petition and recommended that the property as described above be zoned -., Neighborhood Buffer District, as requested by the petition, and WHEREAS,, the Kalispell Planning Board and Zoning Commission ion held a public hearing on January 10, 2006, and determined from public comment and discussion that the appropriate zoning designation should b -5,Residential/Professional office, and moved to amend the findings of fact of KA.-05-20 as such, and WHEREAS, after considering; all the evidence submitted on the proposal to zone the property as described R- , Residential/Professional office, the City Council finds such initial zoning to be consistent with the Kalispell Growth Policy 2020 and adopts, based upon the criterion set forth in Section-3-608, M.C.A., and State Etc, v, Board of County Commissioners', Etc.. 590 P2d 6021, the findings of fact of K1 as set forth in Amended Staff Report No. l A-o -20A. Section .02.010, of the official Zoning; Map of the Kalispell Zoning ordinance, (ordinance No. 1 io) is hereby amended by designating the property described above as R -, siden tial rofessional office, on approximately one-half acre of land. SECTION I . The balance of Section 27.02.01.0, official Zoning Map, City of Kalispell Zoning Ordinance not amended hereby shall remain in full force and effect.
