A RESOLUTION LEVYING AN .ASSESSMENT FOR THE COST OF SPECIAL
MAINTENANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING THE STREETS REETS AND
AVENUES OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2006-20076
W. ERIF,A.S, the assessment cost of the Special Maintenance District #1 for the fiscal year 2006-
2007 is estimated to be $1,138,000.00, and
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held n the 17th day of July, 2006, the City Council did consider
all objections made to said estimate and to the basis of the levy and assessment for
payment for said cost.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED Y THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONT DNA:
SECTION I. That the cost of expenses of maintaining the streets, avenues, alleys
and public roads and the costs of traffic sign and signal maintenance shall be assessed
against each lot or parcel with the Special Maintenance District No. 1 as set out in
Ordinance 1475. The rates for 2006-2007 are as follows:
Category 1. $0.0 10 1 s.ff. Vacant la.d up to 2 acres
Vacant land over 2 acres $ 7 . 1 maximum
Category 2. $ . 1 s .ff. Residential land up to 1/ acre
Residential land over 1/ acre $219.97 maximum
Category 3. $ . 1 s . t. Commercial % covered
Category 4. $ . 157 s .f.. Commercial 1 % covered
Public and pn*vate parklands, as defined by Kalispell City Code 2 -3 - 1. , and cemeteries shall be
exempt from the assessment.
