SUBJECT: City - County Health levy - 2009 budget
MEETING DATE: September 15, 2008
BACKGROUND. The County is requesting a levy for the City -County Health
Department of 5.59 mills for their operations. This levy will be
collected and administered by the County.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of Resolution 5312.
FISCAL EFFECTS: Kalispell Citizens will contribute approximately $204,000 for the
City County Health Department.

A RESOLUTION MAKING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVIES FOR THE CITY OF
KALISPELL, MONTANA, FOR THE FISCAL.► YEAR 2008-2009,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That there is hereby levied upon each and every dollar of the taxable
valuation of the City of Kalispell, Montana, for the fiscal year 2008-
2009, the following levy (funds to be collected and administered by
Flathead County):
CITY - COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT 5.59 MILLS
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF THE
