KALISPELL CITY PLANNING BOARD AND ZONING COMMISSION
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2013
The regular meeting of the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission will be held on
Tuesday, February 12, 2013 beginning at 7:00 p.m. in the Kalispell City Council Chambers, Kalispell
City Hall, 201 ls` Avenue East, Kalispell, Montana.
The Agenda for the meeting will be:
A. Call to Order and Roll Call
B. Approval of Minutes of December 11, 2012.
C. Hear the Public — The public may comment on any matter on the agenda or not on the agenda, except
the public hearing item listed immediately below. (Comments are typically held to 3 minutes or less.)
D. Public Hearing:
In addition, the Kalispell City Planning Board and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on
the following agenda item. Following the hearing and board discussion, the board may make its
recommendations to the Kalispell City Council for final action:
A request by DewGood LLC for an amendment to Section 27.34.040 of the City of
Kalispell Zoning Regulations. Currently, the ordinance limits the maximum percentage
of floor area allowed for casinos as an accessory use (e.g. part of a bar or restaurant)
when located within 300 feet of churches, schools, parks, city residential zones, and other
casinos, to no more than ten percent. The request would increase the maximum
percentage to twenty percent.
2. A request from DewGood LLC for a conditional use permit to operate a casino in an
existing building zoned B-4 (Central Business). The property is located at 101 East
Center Street (Site of Loading Dock building) at the northeast corner of the intersection
of First Avenue EN and East Center Street.
