Dear Madam Mayor:
In response to your posting of advisory board openings for the City of Kalispell, I am
submitting this request for consideration for appointment to two of the boards.
I would request reappointment to the Board of Adjustment. I have served on the board,
as you will recall, for the past two years having been appointed in mid --term, to fill a
vacated position. I am familiar with the workings of the board and feel that this is a good
vehicle through which I can contribute to the City of Kalispell. I take the position
seriously and carefully consider the facts for each case that conies before the board.
Additionally, I would like to request that I be considered for a position on a second
advisory board. I have interest in the Impact Fee Committee and the Planning Board and
Zoning Commission. I see both of these boards as important to the future development of
the community and akin in some respects to the board on which I presently serve. I feel
that my educational background and business experience lend themselves well to the
areas of concern for these boards.
Thank you for your consideration in this -natter and I look forward to the opportunity for
continued service to the city.
Respectfully,
Clinton Cathcart
