SUBJECT:
2009 Parrs District Budget appropriation memo
MEETING DATE:
August 18, 2008
BACKGROUND:
The annual appropriation for the Park Maintenance District is
$501,969. The assessment requested would generate approximately
$ 5 5 0, 000 which would provide a cash reserve (carryover) of about
10%. Assessments are received twice a year in December and June
from the Flathead County Treasurer. It will be necessary to build a
reserve to allow a carryover June 3 01h for operation to be funded until
the next payment in December.
This resolution approves the budget appropriation and authorizes the
special maintenance district levy as presented in the Resolution.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of Resolution.
FISCAL EFFECTS: $5501)000.
