Dear Mr. Patrick,
I respectfully request that Officer Tyler Reed be confirmed as a patrol officer for
the Kalispell Police Department. Officer Reed has successfully completed his one
year probationary period effective August 13, 2005.
Officer Reed is a graduate of Flathead High School and holds an Associates Degree
in General Studies. In 2003 Officer Reed joined the Marine Corp. He spent four
years in the Marines and was assigned to the Marine One Helicopter Squadron. He
ended his active duty with a Top Secret Yankee White security clearance and his
duties included being assigned to be an armed escort for President Bush and Vice
President Cheney.
During the past year Officer Reed has brought the same level of professionalism,
competence, eagerness and dedication to his duties with the Kalispell Police
Department.
It is my pleasure to recommend Officer Tyler Reed be confirmed as a police officer
for the City of Kalispell.
