HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None.
OLD BUSINESS: Coffee Shop — 305 2nd Ave W; convert dry cleaning business to restaurant.
Nothing new received on this project. This will be on the agenda for next week.
Glacier Eye Clinic — Reserve Loop; new medical office. They are still working with Public Works
on revisions for this project, as well as working on getting their approach permit from MDOT.
Wargo stated they are working on changing some of the structural design. This will be on the agenda
for next week.
NEW BUSINESS: Prestige Assisted Living on Glenwood — Memory Care Addition —They
obtained their Conditional Use Permit last fall. It is here now for Site Review and their Building
Permit. This will have a double frontage lot that runs between Meridian and Glenwood, with their
main entrance off of Glenwood. This is an "L" shaped lot, and they are also planning for a potential
future building. There will be 24' wide, two-way aisle with perpendicular parking. Discussion was
held regarding their handicapped parking. They have not submitted their full plans to Public Works
yet. They are still working on their stormwater and also have some sewer issues. This will be on the
agenda for next week. Crowley suggested they be required to extend their on -site sidewalk by 40-50'
to match up to the existing sidewalk.
Montana Lil's — 285 North Main; new entry vestibule. They put in a glass smoking but right outside
the front door previously, and are planning to add an extension of that. This will be the same kind of
glass enclosure but it will be an entryway vestibule to tie right off of the existing smoking hut. Their
smoking but is not supposed to be enclosed, and we may need to refer them to the County Health
Department once we receive more complete drawings. This will be on the agenda for next week.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS — Cliff View Subdivision - This was approved by the Planning
Board and will move forward to the City Council.
Orchard Village Apartment Complex - southside of Appleway. The owner is looking at annexing a
sliver of property on the very west side of that, which presently has a little house on it. He wants to
put another 4-plex apartment on there. This would be an annexation with a Conditional Use Permit.
He plans to keep the house there. This may come in early enough for the May Planning Board
meeting.
Fred's Appliance —possibly going in north of Mergenthaler's south of town, but their application for
annexation has not been received yet. They plan to open up in Gardner's RV building until their
20,000 sq. ft. building is built.
OTHER REPORTS: Syke's — Fincher stated Syke's wants their bond back for their landscaping.
He stated they have not completed all the landscaping requirements there so it is not ready to be
released at this time.
Bypass — MDOT has announced the available funds to complete the half -mile of bypass from West
Reserve and U. S. Highway 93 North, down to Reserve Loop. The bid letting will be in late June, and
they plan to have this project completed by July, 2014. This will be a 4-lane design.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 a.m.
