Approval of Minutes: John moved to approve the October 23 minutes; Julie seconded.
Approved 7-0.
Old Business: None
New Business:
Sykes — 202 2nd Ave W; freestanding sign. Replacing existing sign at the old location.
Will be brought into compliance. 15 ft high; 75 sq ft per face. Internally lit. John moved
to approve; Julie seconded. Approved 7-0.
Brannigan's Pub — 101 E Center; wall and projecting signs. Wall sign is actually 33 sq
ft, not 66. Projecting sign clearances, lighting discussed. Wall sign will be Kelly green
rather than color shown. Janet moved to approve; Mark seconded. Approved 7-0.
Kalispell Brewery — 412 Main St; convert existing building to microbrewery. Corey
recused himself, Mark as acting chair. David and Corey presented the project. It
encompasses property at 412 and 418 Main St. Area over the door at 418 may use
original brick if they find it is in good condition, otherwise as shown. Displayed
color/material samples. Metal at 412 along roof seating area. Rear area of building may
be made darker. New fire escape in the back. Planter boxes on roof with railings.
External lights discussed; haven't been submitted yet. John moved to approve, including
variations per discussion. Russ seconded. Approved 6-0.
