Re: Confirmation of Officers J. Bartholomew and Lidstrom
Dear Mr. Russell,
`Policing

I respectfully request that Officers Joel Bartholomew and Shane Lidstrom be
confirmed as patrol officers for the Kalispell Police Department. Both Officers have
successfully completed the one year probationary period effective March 26, 2013.
Officer Bartholomew comes to us with an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice
and with work experience as a youth pastor, and in concrete construction trade.
Officer Lidstrom most recently work for the Flathead County Sheriffs Department
in corrections and prior to that spent several years in the plumbing trade.
In the past year these officers have completed the twelve week Montana Basic Law
Enforcement Academy and an extensive Field Training Program with our
department. As an employer we endeavor to hire great people and then provide
them with the tools and training to become great police officers. These two officers
have not disappointed, earning the respect of their peers and meeting the high moral
and ethical standards of the Kalispell Police Department.
It is my pleasure to recommend that both officers be confirmed as police officers
with the Kalispell Police Department.
Sincerely,
Rog Nasset
Chief of Police
