Large "Red Ribbons" will again be placed on light poles in the downtown area as a more visible symbol of the communities commitment to drug prevention. Attached is a copy of the weeks events to include a fun run with Governor Marc Racicot from the Summit to the High School and a kick-off celebration at Cavanaugh's on Saturday October 24t' to include a live radio remote and ribbon cutting. Each year participation in and recognition of "Red Ribbon Week" increases as the citizens of our community join to voice their indignation over the scourge of drugs in our society.
