Bid Analysis and Recommendation
Bids were received from Pack and Company, Sandon Construction, Marriott Concrete and Matelich
Construction. All bids are in order and contain the required bonding. A Supplemental Bid was
included in the bid to enable the City to install additional sidewalks up to the budgeted amount of
$28,436.00 should the successful bid be less than the budgeted amount. The Supplemental Bid will
also establish a set price to be quoted to adjacent property owners who may request walkway repairs
to coincide with the City's sidewalk replacement project. Please refer to the attached bid tabulation
form for specific information on each contractors submittal. The Public Works Department
recommends the contract be awarded to Pack and Company including the Supplemental Bid not to
exceed the sum of $28,436.00.
