10. Award Bid - Samaritan House Phases III & IVRANDUM

SUBJECT: Award of Bid on Samaritan House Phases 3 & 4
The staff recommends that award of the recently bid Phases 3 & 4 for Samaritan House's
expansion to Swank Enterprises for the full amount of the bid. There were only two bidders and
the bid amounts were as follows:
Treweek Construction $199,700
Swank Enterprises $175,700
Phases 3 & 4 are for the exterior renovation of the existing building as well as the newly acquired
four-plexes across the street. This renovation will include site development in the form of paved
parking and landscaping. The final phase 5 will be bid later this year for the interior renovation
with work to be accomplished during the winter months.
