The City of Columbia Falls recognizes it's permanent full/part-tune and seasonal
employees are valuable to achieve the goals and objectives of the governing
body. Employee longevity is a major source to accomplish many long term
goals and keep continuity with in the city's structure.
The City of Columbia Falls has adopted a employee recognition program for city
employees as follows:
Employees completing five years with the city will receive a five year logo pin
plus $50. . .
Employees completing ten years with the city will receive a ten year log pin plus
$100.
Employees completing fifteen years with the city will receive a fifteen year logo
pin plus $-1.50.
Employees completing twenty years with the city wx-1 receive a twenty year logo
pin plus $200.
Employees completing over twenty-five years, will receive a logo pin for every
five years of additional service plus $250.
After the twenty-five years each employee wall receive another $50 for each
additional five years of service.
Employees who retire after ten years of service will also receive a city logo pin.
Pin presentations will be once a year at a regular city council meeting.

RESOLUTION NO. 1118
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE, CITY OF COLUMSIA FALLS,
NONTANA, ADOPTING AN EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City of Columbia Falls has many employees who
deserve recognition for their outstanding long -terse contributions
to the City of Columbia Falls; and
WHEREAS, the City Council balieves such employees should be
recognized through a formal program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF COLUMBIA FALLS, MONTANA AS FOLLOWS:
Section One. That the employee recognition program attached
hereto is hereby adopted by the City Council.
Section Two. Elective, Derte. That this Resolution shall
become effective immediately upon its passage and approval by the
City Council.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLUMBIA FALLS,
MONTANA THIS 17th DAY OF FebruarX 1998. THE COUNCIL

employees within your department who should be recognized for a special activity or
outstanding accomplishment which required extra effort during 1998. The recognition will be
in the form of a certificate which will be awarded to the employee with individual letters
placed in the employee's personnel tile.
Please review the activities and accomplishments of the employees in your department and
make nominations for this Special Service Award no later that March 5, 1999. As a minimum
the nom.ination(s) should include the following:
