In addition the Kalispell Fire Department accomplished one hundred sixty nine business
inspections. On the 8t' of November, 1999 through November 15'h 1999 a drivers training
course was set up at the Gateway west parking lot. The course was set up to test the
ability of everyone in the fire department in operation of Engine #1 in both a safe and
proper manner. All fire department personnel spent three hours each going through the
course, with all passing the required ability in a safe manner.
