SUBJECT: Bids for Motor Grader
MEETING DATE: November 15, 1999
BACKGROUND: The current budget includes funding for a replacement motor grader. Bids
were solicited and due at 2:30 PM, November 10, 1999. A total of three bids were received by
the deadline. One bid contained an irregularity that is being review by the City Attorney.
Comparison and analysis of the bids and equipment proposed to be supplied is underway and will
be completed to support a recommendation for the December 6, 1999 meeting of the City
Council.
RECOMMENDATION: Action on the bids to supply a motor grader is recommended for the
December 6, 1999 meeting of the City Council.
FISCAL EFFECTS: Expenditure of budgeted funds based on the lowest responsible bid.
