Meridian Trail Project Agreement ModificationREPORT TO: Mayor Bill Boharski & Kalispell City Council FROM: Michael Baker, Director of Parks & Recreation SUBJECT: Modification to CTEP Project, Meridian Road Walkway, General Project Development and Construction MEETING DATE: July 19, 1999 BACK GROUND: Design and construction for a pedestrian pathway project that includes: A concrete and asphalt pedestrian path approximately 4170 feet in length along Meridian Road from 7"' Street West to U.S. Highway 2. The original request was estimated at $105,060.00 for construction and development. The new total estimated cost for the project is $129,148.00. The changes are listed below. Share = $19,270.40) RECOMMENDATION: Adopt Agreement Modification with the State of Montana to include increase from $105,060.00 to $129,148.00. FISCAL EFFECTS: Budget will need to be adjusted $24,088.00. City share of $4,817.60 will be taken from Park's In Lieu of Fund. ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by Council.
