addressed the selection of a "member at large". The Planning Board nominated
William Rice whose letter of interest is attached. The member -at -large must be
confirmed by the Board of Commissioners and Kalispell City Council. Would you

TO: Kalispell City County-P-lanning Board
My name is Bill Rice and I am interested in a posistion on the Kalispell City- County
Planning Board.
I have been a resident of the Flathead Valley since 1977. For 16 years I owned a masonry
construction company, working on residential homes. Currently I am Project Manager for
Denman Construction.
I have been a member of Flathead Building Association since 1985, serving as chairman
and member of various boards. In 19911 was elected as President.
Over the past few years I also served on the Property and Management board of
Northridge Luthern Church (1 year) and as a board member of the local chapter of
Ducks Unlimited (3 years).
When I am not working I enjoy hiking, hunting and putzing around the yard.
