Mr. Thelen,
Department
I respectfully request that Officer James Wardensky be confirmed as a patrolman for the
Kalispell Police Department. Officer Wardensky has successfully completed his one year
probationary period as of February 12, 1999.
Officer Wardensky is a fine addition to this department. He has high moral and ethical
standards and he has proven his commitment to be an outstanding Officer.
During the last year, Officer Wardensky was given an award by his peers at the Montana Law
Enforcement Academy, as the most outstanding Officer in his class. He is well accepted by his peers
at the department and is consistently at the top of all statistical work categories. Tim has an excellent
rapport with the public and is an outstanding representative of the department.
Officers such as James Wardensky are a standard by which future Officers can be judged. I
am proud to have him as an Officer with the Kalispell Police Department and I wish to submit my
highest recommendation for his confirmation.
Respectfully,

Mr. Thelen,
Department
I respectfiilly request that Officer Sean McRae be confirmed as a patrolmAn for the Kalispell
Police Department. Officer McRae has successfully completed his one year probationary period as
of February 12, 1999.
Officer McRae has established himself as a team player with a great attitude and work ethic.
Sean is always trying to improve himself and those around him and he has already proven himself
under the most challenging circumstances.
In October of last year Officer McRae and a Flathead County Deputy attempted to stop an
armed suspect accused of raping his grandmother and severely beating his grandfather. A harrowing
pursuit followed that included the suspect firing at pursuing officers, where -in two patrol car
windows were shot out. The incident ended when the suspect took his own life and rammed a light
pole. It is significant to note that no Officers or civilians were hurt during the incident. The
outstanding manner with which Officer McRae responded to these circumstances, and the resulting
departmental commendation, is but a small measure of what Officer McRae has come to mean to
this department.
In addition to his professional performance, Sean has also proven his personal standards are
above reproach. Sean has my utmost confidence and my highest recommendation for confirmation
as a Police Officer with the Kalispell Police Department.
Respectfully,
Frank Garner
