SUBJECT: Appointments to the Kalispell Street Tree Commssion
MEETING DATE: January 18, 2000
BACKGROUND: The Street Tree Commission consists of seven citizens of the City of
Kalispell, six of which are appointed by the Mayor with approval of the Council. The City recently
requested applications in the Daily Inter Lake for three terms expiring this month. The only letters
received were from the current board members whose terms are expiring. They are Bette Albright,
Pat Thomas and Bill Wright. The Mayor will be recommending that all three be returned to their
seats and will ask for Council's approval.
RECOMMENDATION: The City Council reappoint Bette Albright, Pat Thomas and Bill
Wright for another four year term on the Street Tree Commission.
FISCAL EFFECTS: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by Council.
