Flathead County Water and Sewer District # 1 /Evergreen Board Appointment
January 18, 2000
BACKGROUND: It's been several years since the City of Kalispell has had a representative on
the Flathead County Water and Sewer District #1/Evergreen Board of Directors. The City has
traditionally had a hard time finding a representative for this board even though we've frequently
requested applications in the Daily Inter Lake. A plea for applications was just recently advertised
again and we did receive a request for appointment from Connie Leistiko. The Mayor is
recommending Leistiko for the seat and will ask for Council's approval.
RECOMMENDATION: The City Council appoint Connie Leistiko to be its representative on
the Flathead County Water and Sewer District #1/Evergreen Board of Directors for a term of six
years.
FISCAL EFFECTS: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by Council.
Respectively submitted,
C"-
