All items listed on the Consent Agenda will be accepted by one
motion. If a Council member desires to discuss an item
separately, the item can be removed from the Consent Agenda by
motion.
1. Council Minutes - Regular Meeting February 22, 2000
2. Approval of Claims per Payables Register $332,428.87
3. Award Bid - Garbage Truck
The City recently advertised for bids for a 26 Yard
Tandem Axle Garbage Truck. Two bids were received from
Transport Equipment and one from Kois Brothers Equipment.
Staff is recommending the bid be awarded to Kois Brothers
in the amount of $147,794.00.
4. Delay Award of Bid on a Sludge Truck to March 20, 2000
Bids were opened Thursday afternoon for a Sludge Hauling
Truck and Staff did not have enough time to review the
bids and make a recommendation for this meeting.
Therefore, a delay of the bid award until March 20th is
in order.

Agenda can do so at this time. Those addressing the Council
are requested to give their name and address for the record.
Those wishing to address the Council on specific Agenda items
will be allowed to do so at the time it appears on the Agenda.

REPORTS/RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUBSEQUENT COUNCIL ACTION
OLD BUSINESS
1. Ordinance 1348 - 2nd Reading - Ordinance allowing for
two-way traffic on a portion of 1st Alley West from 3rd
Street.
NEW BUSINESS
2. Ordinance 1349 - 1st Reading - An ordinance amending the
definition of Casinos in the Zoning Ordinance.
3. Ordinance 1350 - 1st Reading - An ordinance reclassifying
Casinos in the Zoning Ordinance by placing them in the
same category as "Bars, Taverns, Cocktail Lounges and
Clubs".
4. Resolution 4543 - A resolution for final plat approval of
a one -lot commercial subdivision in the Gateway West Mall
for the Stream International Office.
5. Resolution 4543 - A resolution approving the preliminary
plat for Meadow Creek subdivision, a ten -lot residential
subdivision located on the southwest corner of 8th Street
West and 12th Avenue West.
6. Conditional Use Permit - Flathead Industries is
requesting a conditional use permit to construct an
eight -unit apartment complex for handicapped and
developmentally disabled people on the east side of 5th
Avenue West.
7. Conditional Use Permit - Esi Montana Inc. is requesting
a conditional use permit for the operation of a
television broadcast station in part of an existing
building located at the south end of 8th Avenue West
North.
