If a Council member desires to discuss an item separately, the item can be removed from the Consent Agenda by motion. 1. Council Minutes - Regular Meeting May 1, 2000 2. Approval of Claims per Payables Register $128,868.23 3. Proclamation - Law Enforcement Memorial Day C. Please see the last page of the Agenda for Manner of Addressing the Council. (Comments shall be limited to three minutes) D. REPORTS/RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUBSEQUENT COUNCIL ACTION 1. Resolution 4552 - Annexation Request from Gwenn Lee (Lee' s Meridi an Business --rk) This is a request for an-nexation of approximately 3.5 acres of property on the west side of Meridian Road at the terminus of West Center Street. Discussion of this resolution was postponed at the last meeting pending further information. 2. Ordinance 1354 - 1st Reading - Initial Zoning Request from Gwenn Lee (Lee' s Meridian Business Park) for 3-2 , General Business The above listed property owner is requesting City B-2 zoning, General Business, which allows a wide variety of general commercial, retail and office -type uses. Currently the property is zoned County R-1, single family residential. 3. Resolution 4553 - Preliminary Plat Approval for Lee Meridian Business Park A preliminary plat for a seven -lot commercial subdivision was filed concurrently with the annexation and zoning requests from Gwenn Lee. 4. Ordinance 1355 - 1st Reading - Ordinance Amending Chapter 3, Alcoholic Beverages, Kalispell Municipal Code It is necessary to recodify Chapter 3, Alcoholic Beverages, in the Kalispell City Codes to conform with State law regarding licensing and enforcement, and to incorporate changes made over the past few years to various related ordinances. 5. Kalispell Facility Plan 2000 Contract Award Contract award for the development of comprehensive facility plans and analyses of the City's water, sewer, storm drainage and wastewater treatment facilities. 6. Police Commission Appointment Three requests for appointment were received. Joan Jellison has asked for reappointment to the Commission and Richard Nelson and Glenn Stoner are asking for the seat. F. Each person not a Council member shall address the Council, at the time designated in the agenda or as directed by the Council, by stepping to the podium or microphone, giving that person's name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record, and unless further time is granted by the Council, shall limit the address to the Council to three minutes. b. All remarks shall be addressed to the Council as a body and not to any member of the Council or Staff. C. No person, other than the Council and the person ha-:ing the floor, shall be permitted to enter into any discussion either directly or through a member of the Council, without the permission of the Presiding Officer. d. No question shall be asked of individuals except through the Presiding Officer.
