City County Health Mill levy - FY2001 Budget
August 7, 2000
BACKGROUND: The resolution is adopted annually to provide a levy to fund the City's
portion of the City -County Health Fund which is administered by the County. The County is still
in the process of determining its levy requirements as a result of SB184 -basically, the floating
mill calculations are being prepared. We will insert the levy number into the resolution when we
have the number.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of Resolution 4577 setting the mill levy at X.X for the
City -County Health Department.
FISCAL EFFECTS: Levy will generate in tax revenue for the Health Department..
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by Council.

A RESOLUTION MAKING THE ANNUAL TAX LEVY FOR THE CITY -COUNTY HEALTH
DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
2000-2001.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL AS
FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That there is hereby levied upon each and
every dollar of the taxable valuation of
the City of Kalispell, Montana, for the
fiscal year 2000-2001, the following
levy:
CITY -COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT 4.652 MILLS
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS 7TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2000.
