Parking Commission Budget
August 7, 2000
BACKGROUND: The resolution is adopted annually to provide budget authority for
the operation of the Parking Commission. The Parking Commission
is a component unit of the City for financial reporting purposes.
The Parking Commission budget has been revised to include $20,000
funding of a replacement account for parking lot improvements.
Another $20,000 is added to lot repairs for current year
improvements based on Council direction to become more self
sufficient. Additional funds have been added to the audit line item
for the special audit requested by the City.
RECOMMENDATION: Adoption of resolution establishing the appropriation.
FISCAL EFFECTS: No fiscal effects for the City.
ALTERNATIVES: As suggested by Council.

A RESOLUTION SETTING THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE PARKING
COMMISSION AS SET FORTE IN THE 2000-2001 BUDGET ADOPTED BY THE CITY
COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, at a public hearing held on the 17th day of July, 2000,
the City Council did consider all objections made to said
budget.
SECTION 1. That the annual appropriations of the
Parking Commission are, and the same are
hereby fixed as set forth in Exhibit "Aff,
attached hereto and for purpose of this
Resolution made a part hereof.
PASSED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL AND SIGNED BY THE MAYOR OF
THE CITY OF KALISPELL, THIS 7TH DAY -OF AUGUST, 2000.
