I am very interested in being a part of this group and feel that I would be an asset in helping make decisions that will benefit our community. To let you know a little about myself, I am a local business owner in the Flathead Valley. I own a company called Montana Rockworks. We quarry architectural and landscape stone locally and sell it all over the country. Our business employs an average of 30-35 employees year-round. I have grown up in this valley; my family homesteaded in Kalispell at the turn of the last century. Through my business I have earned extensive experience with operating machinery and crews of people for road building purposes. Owning our own equipment and making the decisions of building roads in our own quarries, has given me knowledge of what is involved in road building, repairing and maintaining (such as money, crews, equipment and time). I believe that I would be an asset to the Technical Advisory Committee, not only have I grown up in this valley supporting the valley with personal and business 5pedolizing in taxes and understanding what is important myself and Afchitecturol ond tamlscope Stone 3 0 C 7-02-00 MON 01:06 PM FRDO FAX:4067585781 PAGE 4 other residents, but I also am a local business owner bringing my experience and knowledge of similar situations with me.
