Postponing Award of Bid for an All Season Asphalt Patch Machine
MEETING DATE: December 4, 2000
BACKGROUND: Bids for an All Season Asphalt Patch Machine will not be opened until
December 1 st at 2:30 p.m. This does not give the Public Works Department enough time to review
the bids and make a recommendation to the Council. According to State law, all bids must be acted
upon at the next regular Council Meeting which requires the Council to postpone, to a date certain,
the awarding of the bid.
RECOMMENDATION: The City Council postpone the bid award for an All Season Asphalt
Patch Machine until December 18, 2000.
