Approval of Minutes: Bill moved to approve the November 27 minutes; John seconded.
Approved 7-0.
Old Business: None
New Business:
Best and Westover Law — 35 8th St E; new freestanding sign. Unlit. John moved to
approve; Russ seconded. Approved 7-0.
Casa Mexico (Los Caporales) — 1600 Hwy 93 S — wall and freestanding signs. Mark
moved to approve the wall sign; John seconded. Motion then withdrawn. Mexican
colors OK. They need to address code compliance issues. The white on the letters would
blend in with background — should correct that. Janet moved to table; Bill seconded.
Motion to table passed 7-0.
Other Discussion:
Core Area Plan — Sean discussed status of the plan and possibility of adding a core area
chapter to the ARC guidelines. Also possibility of updating other sections of the
guidelines. We will discuss it in more detail at future meetings.
