Approval of Minutes: John moved to approve the November 13 minutes; Mark seconded.
Approved 6-0.
Old Business: None
New Business:
2395 Hwy 93 N â remodel of old Borders storefront. Natural Grocers. Signage will
come later. No changes in the rear other than some railing. In front, color change and 2
new windows on the right. April 23 opening. Russ moved to approve; Julie seconded.
Approved 6-0.
Other Discussion:
Certificates of Occupancy â discussed procedure for review of projects after
construction pending issuance of certificates of occupancy. Recent situation where there
was a significant change in color. Staff reviewed the project in the field and noted the
change. Minor deviations are usually addressed by staff, but the scope of this change led
staff to contact the chairman of ARC to see if the certificate of occupancy should be held
up and bring the change through ARC. In this case, the decision was that the color
change was acceptable. If it was not, it would have been brought back. This procedure
was considered reasonable by the committee and it supported following the procedure
with any future reviews.
