HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None.
OLD BUSINESS: None.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: Nothing new for December. The only thing on December's
Planning Board Agenda is a text amendment to their zoning ordinance to make schools and other
county buildings, FVCC, and any quasi -governmental entities a permitted use in a lot of the zones so
they don't have to go through the agency exemption process. This way they won't have to comply
with the City's zoning ordinance but they have to comply with all the building codes, all the
landscaping requirements, and all the public works requirements. They will only get an exemption
from zoning requirements as far as land use, height of buildings, parking, and setbacks.
OTHER REPORTS: Jentz will be meeting with Roger Claridge to discuss his proposal to extend
Rose Crossing from Whitefish Stage to Highway 93. Jentz will also be meeting with MDT on
Monday to discuss this proposal. Mr. Claridge is looking to do some enhancements to his property
over time and wants to put the road in at his cost. He has the old Glacier Town Center Subdivision.
Jentz believes this road coming out onto Highway 93 will probably make this an instant success road,
so traffic control needs to be worked out as well as who will pay for the traffic control. Potential
utilities also need to be discussed. This is where our stop light was going to be when Glacier Town
Center was being proposed.
SITE REVIEW MEETING NEXT WEEK: Because of the Thanksgiving Holiday, we will be
meeting on Wednesday, November 20, at 10 a.m. If we do not receive anything for the agenda by
Tuesday, we will send out an e-mail to cancel the meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 a.m.
