Thursday, October 18, 2012
Lower Level Main Conference Room
201 First Avenue East
ATTENDING:
Mark Crowley, Construction Manager Dwain Elkins, Plans Examiner
Tom Jentz, Planning & Building Director P.J. Sorensen, Chairman
Kathy Kuhlin, Recording Secretary
HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None.
OLD BUSINESS: Original Juicery — 1645 Airport Rd; new drive-thru juicery —This is located near
the corner of 18th Street West on Airport Road. There are some drainage and right-of-way issues
they will need to address with Public Works. They will need to re -grade the ditch to make it flow
downhill. Turner (Public Works Director) felt it was reasonable to forego the sidewalk improvements
for the whole frontage with the requirement that they put in the sidewalk at the driveway approaches.
This will be on the agenda for next week.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: Nothing for the October meeting. For November, we have a
request for a zone change for three lots on Indian Trail from R-3 to R-4, which would allow a duplex.
One lot has a 4-plex, and one has a duplex. These are not changing. The lot with the single family
house on it will be changed to a duplex. They will need to pay impact fees and get a building permit.
OTHER REPORTS: Jentz mentioned he has a pre -application meeting with the three lots at the
end of Mile High where the Violence Free Crisis Center was formerly going to be located.
Lone Pine Trails — They will be realigning some of the townhouse lots there.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:05 a.m.
