PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None.
OLD BUSINESS: Depot Place — 3rd Ave EN/E Center; new senior apartments — There has been
some good progress on this project and it is ready for approval. Wargo stated there are a few items
that they need to go over with Public Works. Crowley noted there is a pre -construction meeting
today at 3 p.m. They are ready to take down the fence and get going. This project is passed through
Site Review.
Original Juicery — 1645 Airport Rd; new drive-thru juicery — nothing new on this project yet.
Sorensen will contact Fred Leistiko to see if he has heard from them regarding the airport.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: A house on an approximate 4.5-acre property across the
Stillwater River on Highway 93 North. Owner is requesting annexation and R-5 zoning. R-5
would allow homes and offices, and he wants to convert the garage into a dental office. An R-5 zone
designation would not allow two principal structures on the same property. There are also access
issues with this location. This could be zoned R-2 or R-3 . The Planning Board is okay with it being a
dental office. However, the owner (dentist) now wants to develop the whole property into offices.
He has no other tenants lined up at this time other than his dental office. This new proposal will be
going to the Planning Board.
OTHER REPORTS: Downtown Park Benches — The B.I.D. is having the legs on the benches
Line-Xed. The Parks Department is helping them by taking out 10 benches at a time. The B.I.D. is
paying for this project.
