Re; Red Eagle Aviation Approach — Bid Proposal
Mr. Leistiko,
Schellinger Construction Co., Inc. is pleased to offer the following quotation as requested on the
above mentioned project. Following is our price to provide labor, equipment, and materials
necessary to complete the work as described with the clarifications as noted.
CLARIFICATIONS'
• Our scope of work for this project includes stripping of approximately 12" of topsoil,
excavation to subgrade elevations, remove existing curb & install laydown curb,
supply/haul/placement of 12" of pit run subbase course, supply/haul/placement of 4" of
3/4" crushed base Course, and demolition of the existing buildings, All gravels will be
placed to 95% compaction requirements per public works specifications.
• The Owner will provide all surveying and permits as required.
• All topsoil that is stripped and waste material from excavation will be wasted onsite in
the existing Swale located to the West of Rosauers.
• Removal of the existing chain link fencing and existing power poles will be the
responsibility of others.
Pricing for Bid Item 50 — Building Demolition & Haul Off includes demolition of the 3
existing buildings at the armory, and includes hauling the waste to the landfill. The City
of Kalispell will be responsible for any dump fees required by the FCSWD.
• Progress payments will be billed monthly. Payment is due within 15 days from the date
of the related bill.
• This is a unit priced contract and final billing will reflect actual in place quantities
multiplied by their respective unit price as quoted.
Our price to perform the work as described above is as stated below.
