Works with some further information today, at which time Public Works will sign off on this and they
can obtain their Building Permit. Wargo can provide them with their required impact fee amount
later today.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: Conrad stated there is nothing for the May Planning Board Meeting.
They will continue to discuss their Growth Policy Update.
OTHER REPORTS: FVCC Campus — Nursing Education Building (Brussard Center) — The
hearing and presentation was held last night at the Board of Adjustment Meeting for FVCC's agency
exemption.
Rails to Trails Run — Krauss mentioned that Crowley had requested police officers to block the
traffic at the beginning of the run and he wondered if anyone knew when the run was to take place.
Kohl's and Spring Prairie Phase III — Their lowest bidder came in above their budgeted amount.
Planning met with them to discuss possible options to consider to reduce their costs. They may
consider phasing in the parking lot, reworking the bike path connector, reworking some of the
retaining walls and rear access roads, and/or try to consolidate some of the landscaping. Swank was
awarded the bid.
Kidsports — The announcer's booth building project has been rescheduled for the fall.
