ATTENDING:

Mark Crowley, Construction Manager Tom Jentz, Planning Director
P.J. Sorensen, Chairman Rebekah Wargo, Asst. Civil Engineer
Dwain Elkins, Plans Examiner Chad Fincher, Parks Superintendent
GUESTS: Rob Smith (A2Z) and Mark Johnson
HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: None
OLD BUSINESS: Sykes — Mark Johnson attended to discuss landscaping at Sykes. They would
prefer planter boxes and nothing by the barber shop. Permanent landscaping is necessary. No
curbing by the middle area; need curbing next to the barber shop. Original thought was to eliminate
the parking spots by the barber and this plan was an effort to allow them to keep the spaces. They
will need to put together a plan and bond for it prior to the certificate of occupancy. They will take
care of the curb painting and the no parking sign is already up.
NEW BUSINESS: None
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: E Center/2nd — Rob Smith was present for discussion. They are
looking at a small office building on a currently vacant lot. Discussion included parking
layout/access, handicap space dimensions, blvd/sidewalk, landscaping, and signage.
Depot Place — apartments on E Center/3rd; in for a CUP. Discussed parking dimensions, possible
Eagle Transit pick up. Possible change in building alignment.
Hutton Ranch — plat waiver. Sportsman expansion, mostly for storage and administration. They
want to take a portion of the lot adjacent to them. Some issues tied to parking and building code,
which would be more building permit driven rather that tied to the platting conditions.
OTHER REPORTS: None
