OLD BUSINESS: Alpine Dental — 101 Westview Park Place; new dental building. They are still
working on their structural design plans. They have adjusted the basement, and may or may not
include the storage building in back. They want to preserve the ability to add onto the building later
but still have parking spaces. Public Works has not had a chance to look at the plans yet.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: Conrad stated there is nothing for the May Planning Board Meeting.
They will continue to discuss their Growth Policy Update.
OTHER REPORTS: Costco has retrofit the fuel additive so it is now added mechanically instead of
by hand. This should be a safer process.
A personal training/fitness center will be going in the Blue Cow Building where the Uncorked
Wines store used to be. This change of use came in yesterday.
Jentz stated they have had requests regarding the old Dee's Drapery shop across the street from
Flathead High School. On Tuesday, the Planning Board discussed possible transitional uses such as a
deli, malt shop, espresso shop, etc. They plan on having a discussion with School District #5 and
then have a neighborhood planning meeting. This is only at the discussion level so far.
Krauss mentioned that there is a lot of vandalism in the tunnel between the college and the ballfields.
All the lighting inside has been destroyed and there is a constant graffiti problem. KPD plans on
having their motorcycle and bicycle patrols regularly in this area.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:20 a.m.
