SUBJECT: Postpone Bid Award — Municipal Court Audio/Video System
MEETING DATE: April 16, 2012
BACKGROUND: The Public Safety Building Upgrade Project includes an Audio/Video
system for the Municipal Courtroom. The system will be funded by a grant from the U.S.
Department of Justice and from Municipal Court technology funds.
Two bids were received on April 5 from TRC Solutions (Missoula, MT) and Jefferson Audio
Video Systems (Louisville, KY). Due to the detailed nature of the project, staff is requesting
additional time to review the bids.
RECOMMENDATION: Council postpone action on the bids for the Municipal Courtroom
Audio/Video system until May 7.
