Russ moved to approve the November 22 minutes; John seconded.
Approved 7-0.

Town Pump â 2910 Hwy 93 S; replace existing electronic reader board on freestanding
sign with full color reader board. The sign is nonconforming, so this would go towards its
50% change. Discussed light intensity and the 5 second rule. Janet moved to approve; Russ
seconded. Approved 7-0.
Town Pump â 445 W Idaho; replace existing electronic reader board on freestanding sign
with full color reader board. As with the other sign, it is nonconforming. The 50% rule,
light intensity, and the 5 second rule apply. This change gives this particular sign a cluttered
look. Discussion regarding the color of the other panels on the sign (blue background
contributes to it). Discussed requiring changes on other panels, but that creates problems
with its nonconforming status. John moved to approve; Russ seconded. Approved 6-1 with
Bill dissenting.
Other Discussion:
There will be an open house at the remodeled courthouse on Thursday from 3-7pm. There is also
an open house at the Kalispell Grand Hotel, celebrating its 100-yr anniversary, from 5-7pm.
