A total of five bids were received and four of the five bids fully met the conditions outlined in the instructions for submittal of bids. In consideration of the bids received, RLK Hydro, Inc. recommends the low bid received from L.H.C., Incorporated in the amount of two hundred and ninety six thousand, nine hundred eighty five dollars and fifteen cents ($296,985.15) be accepted as a valid bid for providing construction services to the City of Kalispell. The project involves stabilization of approximately 750 linear feet of bank along the Stillwater River within the boundaries of the Buffalo Hill Golf Course. The stabilization is a combination of rock rip rap and vegetation that is designed to arrest the accelerated erosion of the banks within the subject river reach. In addition, rock re -enforcement of the concrete bridge wing walls will be completed. I have included a tab of the contractor bids that were received for the project.
