PRESS RELEASE
Mayor Tammi Fisher announced today that a selection committee is being appointed to begin
work on finding a new city manager. A local and national search will be conducted with an
advertisement for the position released on Monday, November 21. "We hope to have a new city
manager on board by the beginning of May", Mayor Fisher said, "but we are determined to take
as much time as necessary to find the right person for the position". In the meantime, the council
is working on identifying an interim city manager to bridge the transition.
