PRESS RELEASE
Mayor Fisher has appointed the following individuals to serve as members of a selection
committee to narrow the pool of applicants for City Manager: Dennis Beams, Lex Blood, Kari
Gabriel, Patti Gregerson, Tom Jentz, and Jayson Peters.
The committee members were chosen based upon their stated interest, their professional
backgrounds, and their community involvement. The committee is charged with reviewing
applications, conducting preliminary interviews, and providing its recommendation of a list of 5-
10 applicants it believes are well -qualified to serve the City of Kalispell as City Manager.
The job posting for the City Manager position closes on January 13, 2012. Thereafter, the
committee is expected to meet as often as is necessary to complete their task. It is the hope of
the City of Kalispell that a new City Manager will be appointed by May or June, 2012.
