MAINTENANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING THE STREETS AND AVENUES OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2005-2006. WHEREAS, the assessment cost of the Special Maintenance District #1 for the fiscal year 2005- 2006 is estimated to be $1,056,688.00, and WHEREAS, at a public hearing held on the 18th day of July, 2005, the City Council did consider all objections made to said estimate and to the basis of the levy and assessment for payment for said cost. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KALISPELL, MONTANA: SECTION L That the cost of expenses of maintaining the streets, avenues, alleys and public roads and the costs of traffic sign and signal maintenance shall be assessed against each lot or parcel with the Special Maintenance District No. 1 as set out in Ordinance 1475. The rates for 2005-2006 are as follows: Category 1. $0.0101/sq.ft. Vacant land up to 2 acres Vacant land over 2 acres $879.91. maximum Category 2. $0.0101/sq.ft. Residential land up to'/a acre .residential land over !/� acre $21.9.97 maximum Category 3. $0.0149/sq.ft. Commercial 90% covered Category 4. $0.0157/sq.ft. Commercial 100% covered Public and private parklands, as defined by Kalispell City Code 28-3-19, and cemeteries shall be exempt from the assessment.
