A public hearing on this matter has been scheduled before the Planning Board for October 12, 2010 beginning at 7:00 PM, in the Kalispell City Council Chambers. The proposed dance studio fits under this designation. 3 F. gJtilities/Services: Sewer service: Water service: Solid Waste: Gas: Electric: Phone: Police: Fire: City of Kalispell City of Kalispell City of Kalispell Northwestern Energy Flathead Electric Cooperative CenturyLink City of Kalispell Kalispell Fire Department The application has been reviewed in accordance with the conditional use review criteria in the Kalispell Zoning Ordinance. Sidewalks are in place around each of the buildings to provide safe pedestrian access to and from the buildings and parking lot. h. Garbage Collection: Garbage collection will be handled by the city or private contractor with regular weekly pick-ups. 5 4. Neighborhood impacts: No neighborhood impacts are anticipated with the approval of the conditional use permit to allow the dance studio in one of the existing buildings. The property is zoned for the intended use of immediate neighbors of the dance studio including Edgerton School and other commercial buildings. 5. Consideration of historical use patterns and recent changes: The general character of this neighborhood is residential development to the north and east with a mix of commercial, residential and public school to the south and west. Effects on property values: No significant negative impacts on property values are anticipated. As previously mentioned the proposal is compatible with the surrounding development and will not create any adverse impacts with regard to noise or traffic.
