Re: Conrad Mansion Board of Directors
Dear Mayor Fisher and Members of the Kalispell City Council:
I am writing this letter to express my interest in serving on the Conrad Mansion Board of
Directors.
I have worked as an attorney in Kalispell, Montana for many years. My practice is
focused on alternative conflict resolution and legal counseling. I have served on other local and
state boards in the recent past. At present, I am the Nice President of the local Northwest
Montana Bar Association (second term), but have no other board commitments.
I was introduced to the Conrad Mansion in 1976 and became an immediate fan. Over the
years, I have made the Mansion a part of my out-of-town guests' tour of the valley. I always
enjoy sharing the experience of this wonderfully preserved historical site. I have been fortunate
to enjoy Christmas at the Mansion as well as other special events held there. The Conrad
Mansion is simply one of my favorite places and just driving by on any given day reminds me
how connected 1 am to this community. Kalispell has been my home for more than 30 years
except while a student at the University of Montana, serving with the U.S. Array Judge Advocate
General's Corps, and warping as an Assistant Attorney with the Office of the Attorney General
in Saipan. I always came home to Kalispell.
I would greatly appreciate this opportunity to serve the City of Kalispell and our
community as a volunteer member of the Conrad Mansion Board of Directors. I hope that you
will give my interest your most favorable consideration. If I may answer any questions or you
require further information, then please feel free to call me.
Very tru yours,
Vanessa M. Ceravolo, Esq.

Dear Mayor Fisher:
The Board of Directors of the Conrad Mansion Museum would lime to support the appointment
of Vanessa Ceravolo to serve a four-year term.
Tia Robbin, a long-time board member and attorney, has made the decision not to seek re-
appointment. Tia will be greatly missed, not only for her enthusiasm and willingness to help, but
also for her expertise in the legal field. we feel having an attorney on the board is essential
should legal questions arise.
Vanessa Ceravolo has been a practicing attorney in Kalispell for several years. Her love of the
Conrad Mansion is evident in her letter of request and we hope the council will support her
appointment.
Sincerely,

The Conrad Mansion was built in 1895 as the home of C.E. Conrad, Montana pioneer, Missouri River trader, freighter, and founder of the city of Kalispell.
Restored to its original elegance, it is placed on the National Historic Register and open to visitors from May to October.
