Re: Postpone Bid Award - ewalk and curbing Project
Bids for the 2010 Sidewalk and Curbing Project were opened on Tuesday, April 20, 2010. A
total of four bids were received. Two of the bidders are unfamiliar to me. One of the two
unfamiliar bidders has bid the sidewalk work substantially lower than all the other bidders. I will
require additional time to adequately review the qualifications of the bidders.
I am requesting that the bid award recommendation for the 2010 Sidewalk and Curbing Project
be postponed until the May 17, 2010 City Council Meeting.
