1. Council Minutes — Regular Meeting — June 20, 2011
2. Fire Prevention Grant Acceptance
The fire department has been awarded a grant in the amount of $5,742 With a
match of $63 S to purchase fire prevention materials to include publications,
smoke alarms and carbon monoxide alarms. Staff is requesting the council accept
the grant.
C. PUBLIC COMMENT

D. PUBLIC HEARING — BUDGET AMENDMENT
Council will accept comments concerning an amendment of approximately $27,126 to
the fire department FY 10/ 11 budget.
E. REPORTS/RECOMMENDATIONS AND SUBSEQUENT COUNCIL ACTION

1. Resolution 5 503 — Budget Amendment — Fire Department
Resolution 5503 amends the fire department budget FY 10/11 to reconcile the
actual expenditures required for the operations of the fire department.
2. Resolution 5504 — Annexation Request — Todd and Theresa Cardin
This is a request by Todd and Theresa Cardin to annex approximately one -quarter
of an acre located on the west side of South Woodland Drive at the intersection of
South Woodland Drive and the southern lane of Quincy Loop.
3. ordinance 1700 — Initial Zoning Request — Todd and Theresa Cardin — 1 st
Reading
Todd and Theresa Cardin are also requesting an R-2 Residential zoning
designation on the property listed above upon annexation.
4. Resolution 5505 — Construction Agreement — US Highway 2 Between First
Avenue West and Meridian Road
This resolution approves an agreement with the State of Montana for resurfacing
U. S. Highway 2 between First Avenue West and Meridian Road and includes
sidewalk replacement.
5. Resolution 5506 — URA Recommendation for old School Station TIF

Glacier Investment Properties has requested a distribution from the old School
Technology TIF for Lot 7 o S S . The Urban Renewal Agency is recommending
that the increment generated by Lot 7 o S S be applied to the Lot 7 o S S SID
obligation.
6. Resolution 5507 — URA Recommendation for West Side TIF Distribution
School District 5 has requested a partial distribution of West Side TIF funds. The
Urban Renewal Agency recommends a partial distribution to all of the
contributing taxing bodies in the total amount of $465,000 with School District 5
to receive $15 3, 3 99.93 .
7. Resolution 550E — URA Recommendation for West Side TIF Distribution
TeleTech has requested $43,964.00 in West Side TIF funds for a redundant fiber
line. The Urban Renewal Agency recommends that $20,982 be contributed out of
the West Side TIF for the project
S. Resolution 5509 — Resolution of Intent — Street Abandonment, Knoll Addition
This is a resolution of intent to abandon Grandview Avenue, an unused city street
in the Knoll Addition. If approved, a public hearing would be scheduled for July
18.

Section 2-20 Manner of Addressing Council
a. Each person not a Council member shall address the Council, at the time designated in the
agenda or as directed by the Council, by stepping to the podium or microphone, giving that
person's name and address in an audible tone of voice for the record, and unless further time
is granted by the Council, shall limit the address to the Council to three minutes.
b. All remarks shall be addressed to the Council as a body and not to any member of the Council
or Staff.
C. No person, other than the Council and the person having the floor, shall be permitted to enter
into any discussion either directly or through a member of the Council, without the
permission of the Presiding Officer.
d. No question shall be asked of individuals except through the Presiding Officer.
