Resolution 5513 - Budget Resolution - Annual AppropriationsFROM: Amy Robertson, Finance Director Jane Howington, City Manager SUBJECT: 2012 Final Budget Appropriation MEETING- DATE: August 15, 2011 BACKGROUND: Please consider the budget appropriation resolution. This resolution appropriates all city budgets for a total of$42,800,803. This amount is $832,178 more than the Preliminary Budget of $41,968,625. The majority of the increase is due to the addition of the Brownfields Loan Revolving Fund Grant in the amount of $1, 000, 000. Reductions were made in many funds due to actual carryover adjustments. A public hearing was held on July 18, 2011. No one spoke regarding the 2012 budget. Changes made to the Preliminary Budget are outlined in the Final Numbers Memo and spreadsheets. The City Manager and Finance Director are hereby authorized to transfer any part of an unencumbered balance of an appropriation to a purpose or object for which the appropriation for the current year is insufficient or to transfer between items appropriated within the same fund. SECTION III.
