writingI am as a follow-up to the meeting of
involving the two of us, Tom Wiggins and Larry Gallagher.
Since that meeting, Larry has ordered appraisals for your
Skyway property and the city -owned property on Airport Road
which may be involved in the exchange which was discussed.
Because of the statutory time frame of processing your
subdivision request, and the time in which it takes to have
appraisals done in the valley, I am asking you, or, on your
behalf,' your surveyor, to draft a letter to the County
Commissioners and/or the Flathead Regional Development Office
(Tom Jentz) requesting a 60-day extension in processing your
Skyway preliminary plat. This will also allow the city time
to review your developer's extension agreement and discuss
extension of that agreement. I have secured a copy of the
agreement, and will be meeting with the city manager, city
attorney and Larry Gallagher in the near future to discuss
your request.
