Thursday, June 23, 2011
Lower Level Main Conference Room
201 First Avenue East
ATTENDING:
Jeff Clawson, Building Official Tom Jentz, Planning Director
Charlie Johnson, Construction Manager P.J. Sorensen, Chairman
HEAR THE PUBLIC: None.
PERFORMANCE BOND REMINDERS: The Warranty Bond for Diamond Ridge is coming
up on July 13th. Timberwoll"s Warranty Bond is also coming up. We have not heard from either
one, and they are supposed to notify us in advance. Johnson may give them a pre -warning prior
to his inspection. Sorensen signed off on the remaining portion of the Spring Creek
Apartments. They did put in their bike racks, but did not bolt them down.
OLD BUSINESS: Auto Zone — 130 West Idaho — Fincher was going to discuss the trees with
them. We still have not received any building plans. Clawson spoke with an engineer yesterday
about seismic snow loads on this project.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
PLANNING OFFICE ITEMS: Nothing for the July Meeting. In lieu of a meeting, on July 12 we
will be having a Subdivision Regulation Open House for all the developers, planners, engineers and
surveyors to come in and comment/ask questions on the proposed upgrade to the regulations. We
are trying to come up with an interim process where you apply to the Planning Office and would get
all of your designs submitted and reviewed properly, approved, and then come in for your Final Plat
Application. Burnham is putting together the submittals of what the application would look like.
OTHER REPORTS: Syke's — Sorensen reviewed a counter proposal on the Building Code
Easement that Harball was working on with their attorney. The want a "grandfathered" clause. We
will probably pull that portion of it out. The rest of it was fine. We are ready for the Building Permit
to go forward, as the lot line was resolved. Sorensen will check with Harball on this.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:15 a.m.
