i am following up on my earlier letter with this one in order to stress the importance from
our perspective of achieving an early resolution to the building issues at Gateway West.
There are four important tenants where lease terms have been fully negotiated who are
awaiting the outcome. There are others that we are working with.
It is important for the city to realize that we are working with retail, office, and service
users to tenant the property. Given the momentum of the Glacier Mall, it is not realistic
for us to rent to only retail tenants,
Further, if I understand the situation correctly, Stream's occupancy at Gateway appears to
be responsible for the new requirement. As a result, any additional remodeling costs
would appropriately be charged as part of the common area charges and allocated to all
owners including the city.
Please give me a call at your earliest convenience so that I can understand what is being
done to address our concerns_
